Colour has always been the first language I speak — before composition, before light.
I came to colour photography reluctantly. For years I shot almost exclusively in black and white, convinced it was more serious, more timeless, more honest. Then I went to Rajasthan for the first time.
There are places in the world where colour is not decoration — it is information. The blue walls of Jodhpur do not just look beautiful. They carry history, tradition, and a deliberate choice made generations ago to paint an entire city in a single shade.
